Cassidy Weiss comes to FIU after serving two years as the top assistant as well as the goalkeeper coach at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.

 

During her tenure with the Phoenix, Weiss helped the program to its highest win total since the 2014 season. Her responsibilities pertained to the day-to-day operations of the program, including team travel, recruiting, administrative work, and all team activities, while also holding individual and team training sessions.

Prior to joining the Phoenix, Weiss spent two seasons as the graduate assistant coach for the women's soccer program at Northern State University in South Dakota. Weiss obtained a Master's degree in Sport Performance and Leadership during her time at NSU.

As an undergraduate, Weiss played soccer at St. Cloud State University at the NCAA Division II level. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology.

She is a native of Madison, Wis.
