New Era Soccer has added After School Programming to its extensive and dynamic array of developmental opportunities.  All members of New Era’s Senior Staff have earned more than impressive coaching licenses, but hold a Master’s Degree as well.  In fact, Coach Garbar is a NYC Teaching Fellows graduate. He holds his Master’s Degree in Science of Education which served him well during his 8 years of public school teaching experience, in both New Jersey and New York.  New Era’s Senior Staff have been immersed in the realm of youth development from the Kindergarten to College level, throughout the northeast and overseas,  for over 10 years.  Integrating the athletic/physical development with cognitive/analytical development, while emphasizing the invaluable elements of social and team building qualities, is what New Era most prides itself on.  Their ability to do so, working with such a wide array of developmental levels and environments, is one of the many factors that separates them from so many other developmental academies.  New Era’s diverse, dynamic and progressive Staff not only design, but execute all sessions, never outsourcing coaches, and always running classes with only the best of the best.  The After School Program bodes a curriculum that is specifically created to stretch the development of young students, taking a holistic approach to learning, in an inclusive and forward thinking environment.  Fun, through meaningful work!

 

After School Programming Includes:

• At least 1 member of Senior Staff present at all sessions

• All supplies brought on site

• Flexible schedule design, arranged between School and New Era

• Curriculum shared with on-site school administrator

• Student evaluations provided to parents at the end of each program cycle

• Programming available throughout the entirety of the school’s calendar year, including summer cycles
